Many Bodies Still Unidentified From Corpus Christi Flood

Old Selkirk Musket Goes Rounds of Museums
The musket said to have been given to Alexander Selkirk when he was marooned on Juan Fernandez Island has circulated through British museums. Inscribed with A Selkirk Largo 1771, it was bought for $6.25 and insured for $10,000. Selkirk later ran a Clapham tavern and died in 1723 at sea as a naval lieutenant.
