Mose Burris of Lula turns 100 born in 1867 near the South Canadian River between Allen and Calvin. A former U S marshal and farmer, he recalls wild times with Creek whiskey gangs and a brutal shootout, later losing his 900 acre farm to loan payoffs and retirement from the marshal service. He lives with his wife Nora and eight surviving children.
