Sulphur dog traders trade stories and dogs on Sundays
In Sulphur a long running dog trading ground thrives each first and fourth Sunday at 10 a.m. Bill Bevins hosts a two acre yard three miles north of town where about 100 people gather to swap anything from dogs and knives to guns and cookery. Traders boast of hardy pups and tall tales while some dogs sell for hundreds, though most value the barter and banter over records or receipts.
