Victor A. Hundley 39, coal dealer and son of J. C. Hundley, ex mayor, was arrested in Carbondale Illinois on a charge of killing his father and stepmother. Young Man Dies After Auto Strike Near Ada
Clarence McDaniels a 32 year old farmer died after being hit by an unknown Chevrolet while being rushed to an Ada hospital. Two youths reported observing a man in the road and a fast approaching car which struck McDaniels as he tried to rise. Bebee Area Now Heavy Producing Field in Pontotoc County
The Pontotoc county oil output totals about 1350 barrels daily outside of the Bebee field with Bebee contributing around 900 barrels. No new outside producers were obtained, but one well is being standardized on pay land in Bebee. The Superior producer in Bebee remains strong, and the Conservation well sustains about 120 barrels per day. Four Bebee wells are ready to start drilling, including Sinclair Gardner No 1 in 6-4-6 aw, with other rigs spudding or drilling in surrounding sections.

Census Bureau reports cotton consumed in November totaled 619 884 bales of lint and 68 596 bales of linters, up from October for lint but down slightly for linters.
