Odd accident fatally injures Ada farmer Dewey Ogle
Dewey Ogle a 30 year old farmer six miles south of Ada died at 1 45 pm after a bandsaw accident at his home. He was injured while sawing wood and the blade nearly severed his leg leading to amputation and transfusions. Funeral plans later by Criswell's with services expected Friday at First Baptist church. He is survived by his wife, a sister and his parents Mr and Mrs W E Ogle ofwetumka. The couple had a 4 year old son who died months ago.

One Hurt In Car Accident Near Ada On Highway 48
A minor crash occurred about 8:30 Tuesday night at the Jacks Fork bridge south of Ada on highway 48. William Chamlee suffered facial and hand injuries and chest bruises when his car rear ended Neal Holman’s roadster. Deputy Charley Shockley said Holman Bebee and two companions stopped suddenly as Chamlee’s sedan struck from behind. None of Holman’s occupants were injured. Chamlee’s injuries were not serious.
