After years of inactivity the Sandy Creek effort advances as landowners grant easements for flood control structures. C A Watts of Stratford is first to sign, with neighborhood committees led by Harral Allen and local chairmen including Gus Shi and Arno Griffith organizing workers in Stratford and Hart areas. The Soil Conservation Service will draft detailed plans before construction begins on the 147,243 acre watershed, a long planned conservancy district project.

State's New Egg Law Will Change Oklahoma Farming
