Railroad reaches Forgan Oklahoma City region
The Wichita Falls and Northwestern Railroad completed a 150 mile extension into Forgan Beaver County last week. Passenger service will begin to that point during the week. Forgan lies six miles north of Beaver City and 85 miles northwest of Woodward. It is the only railroad in Roger Mills Harper and Beaver counties with a maximum grade of three quarters of 1 percent.
