Lewis Lantz and his alleged wife Clara Lantz were tried for manslaughter over the negligent death of Leona Griffin, daughter of Clara Griffin. Bonds set at $1000 for Lantz and $500 for Clara, both failed to post and were jailed by Deputy Bob Nester in Ardmore.
Mr Wright, manager of Byrd Store, says the mercantile establishment is adding modern dry goods shelving and receiving merchandise for a large grocery stock. He promises one of the citys largest, most complete stocks of general merchandise and notes the governors confidence in his leadership.
Roff and Deputy Moris arrested Woodberry who was tried before Judge Tal bott Friday. He was found guilty, fined 50 dollars, sentenced to 90 days in jail, and required to post a 3300 dollar peace bond.
A Hillside fire last Sunday night at William Adam's residence trapped the mother and four children. The mother rescued two children, one died from wounds while escaping, another two perished in the flames.
