Barn Fire Destroys J H Odonald Hay Barn and Contents
Fire early Monday destroyed a hay barn and its contents at the J H Odonald place five miles east of the city. Firemen arrived at 12 40 a m but could not save the property. A grass fire at Metcalf Auto Salvage was reported Saturday afternoon and a car at Main and Bluff suffered backfire damage at 8 27 p m.

Ada Firemen Respond to Rural Blazes Near Summers Chapel
Ada firemen were called to two rural fires Tuesday. At 11 56 a.m. a fire damaged the home of Delbert Hisan six miles north of the city probably from an electrical cause. At 2 45 p.m. a blaze northwest of the city in Summers Chapel spread from a trash burn to an outbuilding hay shed.
