District 87 Dismisses Ada Area Split Across Delegates

The districting board redraws District 87 inverted as an L shape covering Ada Reagan Lester Tyrola Bebee and other towns. Ada’s constitutional delegate is formed from multiple townships and ranges, with 16th district reduced and portions given to three other delegate districts.

Okla Territory declares 111 delegate districts for constitutional convention

The August 21 1906 proclamation by Governor Frank Frantz and Judge William H H Clayton apportions Oklahoma and Indian Territory into 111 delegate districts 55 each plus Osage Nation district 56. Elections scheduled November 6 1906 at voting precincts to choose one delegate per district except Osage Nation with two.
