Seven Children Die In Allentown School Bus Crash
A bus chartered by Hillel Country Day School of Lawrence New York skidded on a wet highway near Allentown Pennsylvania and end over end down an embankment killing seven students aged 11 to 16 and injuring 52. Value Of Wheat Certificate For 1970 Announced
The U S Department of Agriculture says 1970 crop wheat certificates will be worth 1.57 per bushel, 5 cents higher than 1969, based on July 1 parity price of 2.82 and a national loan rate of 1.25. About 830 million in payments will go to roughly 949,000 farmers between July 5 and July 20, with 48 percent of 1970 acreage producing the basis for payments.
