End of an era as nations bow to peace in final naval parade
A sweeping chronicle describes a world turning from war as fleets of Japan, Britain, Germany, Italy, France, Russia and the United States pass in review one last time. Norma and Guy witness the farewell from Atlantic Highlands as garlands fall and radioplanes fly above a peaceful sea. The scene closes with the couple walking toward home, vowes of quiet life after a century of martial spectacle. The narrative ends with The End and local notices follow.
