Ada Hosts Giant Tank Show At Saturday Meet
A British tank arrives in Ada Saturday at 2 30 PM over the Santa Fe with Lt C C Chauncey to fly overhead in an army plane. The tank parade will march through town then depart on the Frisco at 10 PM. Banks in Ada Pontotoc county back the Victory Liberty Loan and aim to sell bonds to individuals. Four Ada canvassing squads have raised about 135 000 dollars, short of the town quota, with local banks underwriting the loan.

Mrs Willie Roland, wife of R N Roland, died this morning at the Hodge place six to seven miles west of Ada. Funeral and interment will be at Egypt cemetery. She was 22 and survived by her husband and three young children. Cause was tuberculosis following influenza.
