Special to Evening News from New York reports the Titanic wreck with 868 survivors aboard the Carpathia en route to New York. It lists 1350 victims, names prominent missing, and notes Captain Smith and several elite figures among those lost or saved. News covers aftermath, relatives, and local follow ups.
M. C. Hooks Tom Wyche and John Whitaker visited Ada on Thursday while Berry Brashear went Friday. Geo H Priest, Mrs. Wade Hicks and others spent time in Ada. Several residents traveled to Stonewall Pontotoc and Pleasant Hill. Farmers have finished planting corn with some starting cotton. no sickness reported.

Oklahoma City April 11 The Akin bill to abolish fourteen state institutions was filed by Oliver H Aikin of Moore with 20971 signers, 1588 over the required total. The measure targets the six district agricultural schools the two university preparatory schools at Tonkawa and Claremore the Alva Ada Tahlequah Weatherford normals Chickasha girls college and Wilburton school of mines. The signatures come from every county. The bill may be voted on in August primaries or November general election.
