The Illinois Experiment Station reports sweet clover turned under yields as much organic matter as 12 tons of manure per acre and nitrogen equivalent to 25 tons of manure per acre while providing phosphate similar to 209 pounds of acid phosphate. Cotton fertilizing trials planned by Moss and Norris pasture near Ada

Ada to Host Miss McPheeters Food Lesson Visit
Mrs Duvall reports Miss McPheeters state food specialist will visit Ada on April 30 for a cooking lesson and talk on proper food preparation. Each women's club in the county will send two delegates to relay information to their clubs. This marks her second of four county visits this year after an earlier stop.
Egg Laying Contest Produces February Winner At St Johns Farm
The St Johns Poultry Farm in Oronogo Missouri led February with 217 eggs in 29 days and 74.8 percent production. The pen had ranked high since the start, aided by fair weather. Month ranged from 21 degrees to 75 degrees at the contest yards. Continued on Page Seven.

Court refuses continuance of Walton appeal

Soldier Bonus Bill Agreed to by Senate Finance Panel

The M K and T railroad from Oklahoma City to Coalgate was sold by court order at 3 o clock this afternoon. Byron F Babbitt served as special master and auctioneer. H R Hudson of Kansas City was the sole bidder, securing the property for 400000, the court set minimum. Citizens of Ada witnessed the sale as the road was knocked down to the highest bidder, in front of the Ada station. This marks the second sale in recent months, previous sale held at Newalla Oklahoma County.

Atoka stenographer in critical condition after self harm attempt
McAlester April 16. Murl Scott twenty a stenographer of Atoka is in a McAlester hospital with a self inflicted head wound in critical condition. She was found Tuesday in her automobile on the highway between McAlester and Atoka. Letters in her belongings indicate she contemplated death by her own action with no known cause beyond recent ill health.

Jury sought in the Marvin Kincannon murder case at Duncan
The third special venire of 50 men was questioned for a district court murder trial. Marvin Kincannon allegedly led a mob that shot two men at a Marlow hotel on December 17.
