Oklahoma City April 15 Justice Thurman S Hurst announced on the Democratic ticket he will seek a second term on the state supreme court from the sixth district. A Pawnee resident he was elected in 1936 after six years as district judge for Pawnee and Tulsa counties and previously served as Okfuskee county attorney from 1914 to 1918. He started law practice in Weleetka in 1912 before returning to Pawnee and spent eight years on the Pawnee school board.
