Monday morning at the bride’s mother’s house Thad Sutton and Bess Saffarrans were united in marriage with Rev. T L Rippey officiating. The ceremony was small with only a few social friends present.
Last Sunday at the bride’s parents home Mr. and Mrs. J. J. Barton Miss Rena Barton and Mr Alfred Pike were married by Rev Sim Ferrier. A large crowd witnessed the ceremony and shared a bountiful dinner prepared for the occasion.
The Allen Hustler changes editors again as Orel Harper leaves for Guthrie last week. Ex M McCartney, formerly of Iowa, assumed charge Friday and visited Ada Monday. He appears to share the papera hustler style in his leadership.
W B Wooten of Cordell Okla badly injured by a train at Francis sues the railroad for 10000 damages. Also W H Markham at the oil mill was seriously scalded blasting a mud valve cap. Sans Pariel high school plans an open session at Christian church at 3 pm. J M Stanfield and family moved to Bridgeport Texas to manage a large farm. Christmas pictures offered at 2 Walters.
