Ex-Gov Frantz Buys Big Texas Ranch in McMullen County

Former Oklahoma Governor Frank Frantz and his brother Orville G Frantz purchased the Prince Ranch a 50000 acre property about seventy five miles south of San Antonio from an Oklahoma syndicate for around 600000. They plan to sell the land in small tracts with headquarters to be opened in San Antonio and Oklahoma City. The ranch lies in McMullen Frio LaSalle and Atascosa counties and has long been cattle land near the artesian water belt.

Frisco Train Crashes Into Loggy. Injures Mrs Portrey

In Oklahoma City a Frisco Meteor passenger train from St Louis struck a loggy in the south yards at about fifteen miles per hour. Mrs Buma Portrey sustained a fractured shoulder while her daughter Emma and son Alese were dragged a short distance but escaped serious injury. The loggy occupant and the bodies were not harmed.

Council in Ada Oklahoma resolves to pave 12th street from Rennie to Stockton with grading curbing and drainage and to publish notice for six issues in Ada Evening News.
