Harmon Nominated Governor by Acclamation in Ohio

The Ohio Democratic State Convention endorsed Judson Harmon for governor by acclamation and for president, with many delegates believing he would resign after starting his new term to pursue the national ticket. Savings Bill Passes Senate Amid Taft Support

Washington June 22 The Senate approved the savings bill by 44 to 25 after blocking progressive amendments. Three progressive Republicans Cummins La Follette Bristow voted no. Dolliver Clapp did not vote. Chamberlain of Oregon voted yes. Taft’s aims align with the bill, and Hitchcock will lead postal bank setup. Communities should contact the Postmaster General to pursue establishment.

Coffeyville Boosters Visit Ada on Business Tour
