The weary Sen ator from Oklahoma campaigned amid fatigue and boasts of past fundraising to oppose the New Jerusalem measure. He challenges supporters to let the people decide and urges no premise from critics.
The court adjourned until 9 o clock Monday morning in the murder case of Zeke Putman. Defense witnesses led by Milernes testified. Mughbee denied the state's account while Comb faced cross examination. State witnesses sought to disqualify Bud Hoggard, a defense witness last night, and Judge Weat departed for Tughnuigo. Court observers expect rebuttal and possible perjury charges against some testifiers.
