An Oklahoma opinion states that doctors without Board certificates or who have fled their certificates with the county clerk commit misdemeanors. Fines range from 10 to 500 dollars with possible imprisonment. Another ruling says a private secretary cannot also be stenographer for the McAlester warden at 375 dollars monthly. A third opinion directs county clerks and treasurers to issue tax warrants by May 19 for delinquent taxes.
Mrs Felter wife of the senior editor of the Roft Hagts died at her home yesterday after a lingering illness of several weeks. The news comes with sympathy expressed for Mr Felter and his family.

Lamar Colorado June 9 authorities report a foiled plan by Henry Starr and accomplices to free the Oklahoma Colorado bandit from the jail. Starr, held on bank holdup charges from Amity, may post bond in Arizona. If bond proves possible, new charges will be pursued to keep him. Sheriff Skapson warns associates planned an extraction to seize Starr from the local jail.
In Memphis Tennessee June reunions votes and tours dominated the scene as General Clement A Myars was re elected commander in chief and Mobile Alabama chosen for the next gathering. The parade will close the reunion with tense moments as speakers were heckled and L L Sisson of Mississippi spoke after a test of endurance amid heat and noise.
Guthrie June 9 The State Board of Public Affairs may sue in the Supreme Court to determine its authority over a $716,250 claim tied to the Weatherford Normal School building project. The $95,000 contract, awarded March 20 by the Board of State Normal School Regents, faces delays as both boards must approve payments and a report from an architect is awaited. Governor Haskell plans to intervene to straighten the tangle.
A Tulsa Oklahoma juvenile court patterned after Judge Lindsey’s in Denver will begin June 12. The law makes the county judge the presiding officer with exclusive jurisdiction over children sixteen and under. Children under 12 cannot be imprisoned for offenses. The county court clerk was named as projection officer. W. W. Higgins of Houston, Texas arrived for related business.
Ardmore Oklahoma faces a Supreme Court ruling over the validity of a $40,000 bond issue voted five months ago. Bond buyers claim two technicalities exist: late polling opening and returns sent to the county board instead of city authorities. A decision is expected to favor the city and unlock funds for public improvements including paving ten miles of streets.
