Preparations are under way for Sulphur Oklahoma's largest celebration on June 9 featuring a big picnic scale event. Hatchet Attack in Chicago Real Estate Dispute

Max Kairfine, a real estate dealer, confronted Flora Smith, a colored tenant, at a Chicago home on Monday. He allegedly struck her with a hatchet, it lodged in her head, she knocked him down stairs, she sat on him and pulled the weapon free, then beat him until police intervened. Flora was hospitalized in serious condition.
