Halton rejects land sale for senior housing project
Halton County Council rejected a request by the Rotary Club of Milton to buy or lease land adjacent to Halton Centennial Manor for a senior citizen housing project. Negotiations with the Halton Manor Board of Management sought a northern strip on Ontario Street. the board approved in principle, but the county committee recommended denial in a report adopted last week.
