Acton Fire Department Plans Week of Fire Prevention
Acton volunteers announce a week long fire prevention program from October 4 through October 11. Miss Acton crowns Nettie Tryssenaar queen at 1964 pageant
More than 1 500 patrons filled the arena Friday night for the Miss Acton Four contest. Nettie Tryssenaar, a 19 year old Erin Township contestant, won the crown and robe, receiving the Miss Acton Four trophy and a bouquet as she was crowned by Linda Perpuson. Janie Bouskill and Tannie Taser served as runners up and attendants. The event featured prizes from local businesses and a reception of cheers and photographs as Nettie accepted her sash and crown.
