Residents End Five Month Fence Battle At Parkland
A dispute over a 750 foot chain link fence along Parkland W between public parkland and private property ended when two residents dropped their protest after legal advice. Parks Board had begun replacing 380 feet of old fencing, with nine neighbors objecting and hiring a solicitor. Fence viewers urged county judge oversight, but the party eventually halted further action and the board plans to decide whether to complete the barrier next spring or partially.
