Erin Township Council Holds August 1937 Meeting
The Municipal Council of Erin Township met at Hillaburg on August 23 1937 with all members present. Minutes were read and confirmed. By-Laws Passed by the Council of Esquesing
The Bequering Council held its regular meeting on Monday afternoon September 13. Reeve George Currie presided with Deputy Reeve N A Robinson and Councillors W A Wilson and H May present. The meeting approved paying road and relief accounts totaling about 4 720.07 and 110.17 respectively. By laws for railway bonus fund interest distribution, school section alerts, 1937 township assessment, and tax penalties were read and passed. The Reeve was authorized to sign a warrant to sell lands for 1937 arrears of taxes and the council adjourned to meet October 12 or at the Reeve’s call.
