County Drops Purchase Of Eight Acre Parcel
County Council voted 3y 22 to drop buying eight acres of the John Coulson estate at Hornby and keep the 92 acres given two years ago. Executors offered eight more acres for 25000 to unite the parcel. votes to buy the eight and to return the 92 both failed. Executers will be told to sell to others. Council also approved hiring D McConachie to study Milton zoning rights, plans a new administration building in Victoria Park, and redrawing debenture by laws to six percent interest for grants of 372000 and 435000 for Milton District Hospital and Milton High School. Tender for a furnace for the Registry Office awarded.
