House Fire Doused After Shingling Mishap
On a hot Monday afternoon Bob Lazenby of Crewson's Corners found his house shingling catch fire with smoke billowing from under the eaves. He and his father searched the attic and doused flames with water from a nearby well before Acton firemen arrived to put out the smouldering embers.
