Halton Juniors posted an excellent showing at the C N E with about sixty youths from the county competing in Inter-County Calf Club events Livestock Judging and Home Economics. Top honors went to Grant Heslop Bronte Breckon Bruce Lindsey John Lerch for the Shorthorn group while Donald Peel Milton led Holstein entries and also won Champion Showman in that division.
