First Canadian Rover Moot Held Near Acton
More than 860 Rover Scouts from the United States Cuba and Canada gathered at Blue Springs four miles west of Acton for the first Canadian Rover Moot. A parade led by the 177th Toronto Rover Crew Pipe Band featured the saluting Lieutenant Governor Ray Lawson as Maj. Gen. D. C. Spry and other officials watched. The event spanned two camps Atlantic and Pacific with 560 in tents and four daily papers published for attendees.

The restoration covered the church proper, Sunday school room, choir loft, light fixtures, vestry, woodwork, pews, ceiling, chimney and buttments, and floors. The congregation’s call for a minister remains unsettled.
