Fun Fair Success For Acton Rotary
Acton and District crippled children projects benefited as Acton Rotary club held a Fun Fair attended by over a thousand people. Attendees enjoyed bingo, a clown band, crafts, and prize auctions with a television set among the big offerings. Nearly 1500 dollars were raised to support local outreach while volunteers ran booths and games throughout the evening.

Apple Day fund drive nets scouts and cubs prize winners
About 124 cleared by Acton seats at the annual Apple Day. Wayne Carnie won the selling competition with Bob Armstrong second and Gary McPadden third.
