Brief Session of Esquesing Council Held This Month
Esquesing Township Council met in Norval on Tuesday evening October 14 with all members present. Acton High School beat Georgetown 2 to 0 in Acton Park in a tense contest played in fifteen minute quarters. The Acton eleven showed sharper positioning while Georgetown fought hard despite the defeat. Referee Mr Hansen officiated with Georgetown on the outside lines as fans from both towns watched. Acton plans to travel to Georgetown for a return match.

Halton Assizes Hear 2 Criminal and 6 Divorce Cases
