The Pioneers Cemetery memorial in Acton is finished after levelling, with 140 headstones and seven monuments set on bases. Trustees led the project with local volunteers, using cement, gravel, timber, and neighborly support to create a lasting tribute to Early settlers, many of Scottish origin, interred 1830 to 1885.
Dublin School will host a concert on Thursday November 2 featuring drills dialogues and songs. Admission priced 100 for ladies and 1 for gents.
