Acton Resident Threatens Suit Over Friday Flood Loss
An Acton resident with his wife and three children demanded the town assume liability for flood damages after water overflow on Main Street last Friday night filled his basement with a claimed 2500 loss. He alleged the town erred in issuing the house permit given known drainage. The mayor stated previous claims have arisen and the town is not at fault though the citizen may sue. The council also discussed ongoing Warren Grove sewer extension issues as well as water removal measures during the digging.
