Acton Curling Club to Build New Rinks on Churchill Road

Washer motor burns out at Ospringe home

A water piping by-law for Lakeview advanced, opposed by deputy reeve and Councillor Tyler. The clerk warned OMB approval requires personal pursuit. a supplemental by-law may secure a subsidy and a delegation to discuss the project with the Board was authorized.

Halton County film wins Cindy award in Palm Springs
Halton County’s film The Man and the Boy won a Cindy award at the Information Film Producers of America Inc conference in Palm Springs California. Warden William Hunter heads to the presentation banquet as the two top promotion film honors are announced during the three day event at the El Mirador Hotel. The two year project completed earlier this year was produced by the County Industrial Committee and will be shown in local groups and schools and at the International Plowing Match later this month.
