Knox Seed Club Observes Week With Scottish Theme
Over seventy members attended the Knox Seed Club meeting last Wednesday in the Sunday School room decorated with tartans. Miss I Anderson presided as Rev J Anderson and T A Hansen led the Scots themed program of jokes, songs, a national foods contest, and a film Roaming in the Gleaming. Mrs Leishman won the music contest and a lunch of Scotch fare followed before the group closed with Auld Lang Syne.

Campbellville correspondent reports Miss Sophia Patterson aged 92 will host relatives and friends at home Friday November 28 on the occasion. She is a longtime St David's Presbyterian Church member and active in Women Missionary Society and Ladies’ Aid. Patterson resides in Campbellville 45 years. She is in good health, has knit and crocheted for the Red Cross, and cared for her home. Her late husband Wesley Patterson preceded her. She is the sole surviving sibling and has 18 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren among her three daughters and three sons.
