Navy League began Navy Week with a Sunday concert at Acton Town Hall. Toronto groups Knox College Male Quartet and the Lorne Scots Band performed rich sacred pieces, marches, operatic excerpts, and patriotic selections. Proceeds totaled 44 dollars with half aiding Acton’s Navy League and half supporting the band’s Christmas cheer for overseas members.

The Campbellville Patriotic Society in Nassagaweya Township presents its third report detailing 879 completed articles. Knitted items include socks, sweaters, scarves, mitts and gloves. hospital supplies cover gowns, bed gowns, quilts and blankets. refugee relief lists numerous dresses, blouses, coats, pajamas and babywear. Funds raised total $482.23 with $429.46 spent on overseas and refugee needs and Red Cross supplies.
