The Acton United Church held its 16th anniversary last Sunday with Rev. Prof. A S Orton of Emmanuel College Toronto delivering sermons on the throne of grace and contemporary work events. The service featured the choir and soloists, with strong congregational turnout in morning and evening sessions. An offertory by a local bank received a generous response.

At a special meeting the Acton School Board approved a new toilet system for the Public School. Caustic Sanitation Co represented by Mr Burns quoted a 20 year guarantee covering parts and odor control.
