On Saturday a new air graph service began allowing Canadians overseas to send messages cheaply. Arrangements for a farm to farm and person to person campaign to help Esquesing reach its War Savings Objective of $2 000 are now completed. Chairman Arthur Beaumont and the committee have divided the territory into sections with a chairman for each section. This week canvassers start on their rounds contacting every home. The committee asks all assist them in completing this work and meeting the objective.

Seeds Sent From Ontario To England In Two Tons
Two tons of vegetable seed are to be sent from Ontario to England before year end. The Central Fund committee of the Federated Women's Institute of Ontario and Acton W. J. Branch contributed. The shipment includes onions carrots peas and two bean varieties tomatoes corn and sunflower seed. Total cost with insurance and transport about 2000 dollars. The fund also supplied 100 period blankets valued at about 400 dollars and last year a large amount of soap was sent.
