New Christian Education Room Dedicated at 99th Anniversary

Deer Killed After Hit By Car On No 25 Highway
A 300 pound buck ran into the side of a car driven by Earl McCoy on No 25 near Speyside causing 150 dollars of damage and killing the deer. McCoy, who works in Acton, said a flat right front tire caused him to crash into guardrails. Eight rails were knocked out.

Natural gas will be available for domestic and industrial users in Oakville Bronte and southern Trafalgar township by year end. T P Panchard general manager of United Suburban Gas Co Ltd announced at a meeting of industrialists merchants and municipal representatives. He said negotiations with Niagara Gas Transmission Ltd led to a completed contract and United Gas Co will begin an eight inch pipeline from Hamilton to Oakville with high pressure lines to serve industrial areas and loop around residential edges. Oakville has received manufactured gas from Hamilton since 1929.
