Halloween Party Draws Hectic Scene At Roxy Theatre

The Bannockburn Women’s Institute held its regular monthly meeting at the school on Friday evening October 22 with about 56 present. A short business session planned a school cadre for food relief fund proceeds and a china demo in November. The program featured an ode, a song, a solo by Marjorie Meonald, a reading by Mrs Badlenine, and an appeal by Mrs M McCullough. Miss Sybil Bereet MP spoke on Estate and Income Tax. thanks were given to all participants, followed by a Queen song and social hour.
