Three Year Old Connie Anderson Drowned at Palry Lake Acton
The three year old Connie Edith Anderson, daughter of Mr and Mrs Robert Anderson, disappeared around 7 15 pm Sunday while playing near home in Acton. Her body was found in Palry Lake by Papillon who retrieved her, but resuscitation failed. The child had been prize winning baby at Acton Fall Fair two years ago. Farm Home in Nassagaweya Destroyed by Fire
Sunday afternoon a fire wrecked the home of Wm. Henry in Nassagaweya township on the Guelph town line one mile north of Brockville. A nearby resident reported the blaze and a bucket brigade formed to slow the flames. The house was a total loss though some furniture was saved and insurance partly covered the damage. Neighbors helped relocate Mr and Mrs Henry to a nearby Brockville residence.
