At a Milton Inn meeting in North Halton representatives from Acton Nassagaweya and Milton discussed forming a new High School district near Speyside with location TBD by the High School Board. Georgetown opposed unless it hosts the school, leaving the district to proceed without Georgetown. Representatives from Erin and Eramosa attended as prospective members. The plan moves to Halton County Council and the Education Department for final approval.

The Acton Agricultural Society backs a Boys Grain Club and Girls Garden Brigade led by President Howard Switzer. Knox Church hosted the induction of Captain John Anderson into his new charge in Acton last Thursday evening.
