The Dublin Women's Institute met with music, prayers, reports, and a copper-making demonstration. Nassagaweya Women’s Institute discussed convention papers and home life. A Runaway accident near Guelph left Jackson severely injured. he died this morning at the hospital.

Mrs. G A Gifford widow of the late Dr G Gifford died in Stratford General Hospital in her seventy seventh year. A planter of the district she hosted tales of Perth County’s early days. Born in Downie Township her father John Wesley Mills helped found the first Wesleyan Methodist Church in Stratford. Her husband served multiple Ontario circuits and died in 1911. Surviving children include Rev William A. Gifford Montreal professor, Rev G Clinton Gifford Preston, Dr A Gifford Cedar Rapids Iowa, and Percy V. Gifford Dubuque Iowa.

Lloyd L Cooper of Victoria Road Guelph and former Acton resident died yesterday after an appendicitis operation. Aged 37, he leaves a wife and four month old twins, his parents Mr and Mrs K Cooper and two sisters in Stratford and College Heights. Funeral Friday at two from Victoria Road with interment at Woodlawn Cemetery.

Edna Robson daughter of Afr and Mrs Thomas Robson of Oxford Village passed away after several weeks illness at age fourteen. Born in England she moved to Canada as a child. Besides her parents she leaves three brothers Harald John and Thopyu at home. Funeral was held Saturday at St Alban's Church with the Girl Guides attending. Interment at Pullivlow Cemetery.
