Dublin Women's Institute Ninth Grandmothers Meet
Last Thursday evening the Dublin Women's Institute held its ninth Grandmothers gathering with nine honored attendees. Hostess Mrs J Lynch led as secretary D Moff read roll, with notes on weather predictions and training school topics. Canvass roles for the Canadian Cancer Society were set, a bread and Chelsea bun baking competition announced, and a district winner to be chosen at the May District Annual.

Fruit Cup and Bread Made by 4-H Dublin West Fruit Cups
On March 18 at Mrs. E. Wilson home the Dublin West Fruit Cups held their fourth and fifth meetings. They pledged 4-H, read and adopted minutes, collected funds, prepared fruit cups with oranges grapefruit and bananas, and pie filling by Linda Plarce. On March 20 at Mrs. Blyth home the sixth meeting followed the pledge and minutes, with Cathy Lasby and Marilyn Barber making banana bread and related tasks, discussions of achievement day, and next meeting planned for April 2.

Blindness work speaker at Trinity United Church Women
