Uncertain OCR Fragment on Health and Mood
The readable text hints at a discussion of low spirits and liver, mentioning illness and daily liquids but is garbled. It references bile, hemp, and a table, but lacks coherent details or clear events or people to identify.
Fragmented diary notes reveal small town life and misadventures
A garbled diary style entry recounts social mishaps at the opera house with a cringing remark about a feeble minded remark, school Sundays, a store purchase, a bridge prize jug, a test scare about polygons, and a neighbor’s singing lessons. It mentions Mr and Mrs Glasby, Miss Flint, Joe Hix, and a barber of everyday events.
