Nancy Mae Norton an 11 year old daughter of Mr and Mrs Harry Norton began her first term in a Canadian school at M. Z. Bennett public school. She is in grade seven with Walter Dubs as her teacher. The Norton family has lived in Iran and Peru and travelled to Beirut Jerusalem Delhi Calcutta Bangkok Hong Kong Tokyo Hawaii and San Francisco before settling in Acton waiting for a new posting.

Door Still in Old Ice Box Trapping Six Year Old Boy Found
Six year old Jimmy Harris was found in an old ice box on his parents property near Acton after two and a half hours of searching. He was cold and in shock but alive, having answered a faint call from his mother. Neighbors and family joined the search as his father repaired a truck and the family frantically looked in nearby bushes and grandparents’ homes.
