How Benefits of Insurance Plan Operate for Worker
A historical note explains the Unemployment Insurance Plan phases from January 27 1942 and July 1 1941, detailing eligibility rules. Workers must 180 days of contributions in the prior two years, register as unemployed, prove prior employment, and be available for work. They must attend approved training if needed, and not leave jobs to claim benefits. The local office emphasizes the 180 day rule and that benefits are for those unemployed through no fault of their own.
