Re Route CNR Freight Crash Halts Traffic West of Georgetown
A freight crash on the C N R main line west of Georgetown yesterday afternoon injured one, derailed five cars and damaged track about 1,000 feet. Traffic to Toronto and Acton was blocked, with two special trains carrying 800 festival passengers rerouted via Toronto Hamilton Burlington routes to Stratford Guelph Galt and Lynden. The injured include a diesel crewman and a fireman. Traffic to No 29 from Tolgate to Guelph rerouted by bus.
