Trains Collide at Guelph Station in Head-On Crash
Two CN passenger locomotives collided head on at Guelph station injuring several passengers lightly. Engineers and firemen escaped unhurt as both engines were wrecked with cabs crushed and wheels lifted from the rails. The Palmerston line was at fault for failing to wait signals, causing the deadly crash.

Bathing Accident Causes Serious Leg Injury at Radwood
Miss Kay Chapman suffered a painful accident while bathing at Radwood on Saturday when her left leg became snagged on a raft spike and she was held underwater until fellow swimmers rescued her. The wound required seven clamps to close and raised fears of muscle injury. she is progressing favourably but will be unable to participate for some time.
